the fact that Hubman and I can feed our family.
Everyone who comes by my blog on Friday knows that I love food and cooking. For me there are few pleasures than cooking a meal or special treat for someone I care about and watching them enjoy what I've prepared.
However many others are not so fortunate. The current economy has left more people than ever (including two income families) reliant on food stamps, food banks and discounted school lunches.
There are many ways to help. Many supermarkets give patrons the opportunity to donate food or money while you shop. Your place of worship will also be partnered with a local food bank or shelter.
The Boy Scouts and Post Office also collect food that you can leave right at your mailbox twice a year. Just keep on the lookout for signs and notices in your mailbox.
As for formal charities, my favorites are Feed The Children (The Charity Navigator gives them a score of 69%-although once you donate, they are relentless w ith requests for follow up donations) and Feeding America (Formerly known as America's 2nd Harvest) This charity was given a rating of 56% by the charity navigator.
Hubman is sexily working off the lovely dinners I make for us. And The Dirty Side of Us is also looking glorious in repose this week. (She also helped me pick out the outfit I was wearing during a girls trip to Fredrick's of Hollywood.)
Osbasso has the main list of nekkid people and the NSFW nekkidness is in its usual spot.
